Flight operations have resumed at Edinburgh Airport after a major technical issue at the control tower grounded all flights.
Every arrival and departure were halted after an technical fault that was reported at approximately 08:30.
Some passengers were left waiting in jets at the stand as the outage continued.

Officials announced at 10:40 that services were back online, and expressed gratitude to passengers for their "understanding and cooperation".

An airport representative had initially projected that a significant number of movements could be disrupted.
