Loyal followers of the pop star are calling for that a individual who leaped a fence and touched the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or removed from Singapore.

A viral video depicts the Australian man pushing past camera operators and charging at Grande while the performers made its way down a yellow carpet flanked by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being detained", though official papers showed that he was due to attend court on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was charged.

Record of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile features recordings of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last December.

"Measures must be taken taken against him as this is obviously a legal violation," commented an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Followers Show Disapproval Over the Star's Safety

Numerous supporters blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from PTSD after a devastating incident at the end of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote one more message on Instagram.

A number of supporters also questioned guards at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals requested social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's videos.

The production itself is a derivative of the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was dressed in a rosé sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble decorated with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the highest-grossing movie of last year in the UK, and scored 10 Academy Award nods, earning a pair for excellent wardrobe and production design.
